Premantura - pola - Croazia

Premantura-a picturesque small town of 1050 inhabitants, south of the Istrian peninsula, dating from the Bronze Age site. Archaeological remains of the ancient Romans to show interest Premantura as an ideal environment and location of settlement. A beautiful statue of Minerva was also found here, now preserved in the Archaeological Museum in Pula.


The peninsula to Kamenjakdà Premanturala main characteristic territorial. This peninsula is equal to 9.5 km in length and maximum width of 1.5 km. Kamenjak is surrounded by a 30 km coastline dotted with numerous coves and beaches, the landscape is embellished by the surrounding islands that form the background.


The restaurants have made Premantura a famous place particularly rich set of menus with delicious seafood and shellfish.
Of the many tourists and folk festivals, we particularly recommend two: the feast of crabs on 1 May, and the most important festival, Lovre? Ages, August 10, which is the feast of San Lorenzo, the patron saint of Premantura is surrounded by nature, not many places can boast. To the south is Cape Kamenjak - a protected landscape 9.5 km long, 1.5 km wide, with a total of 30 km of coastline.

There are many rocky beaches, pebble coves as well. On a relatively small area there are 530 species of plants.

For this reason there are no campsites on the tip, hotel or any other type of structures.


Quiet and little frequented, home to the Church of San Lorenzo, surrounded by stone houses with arcades and rustic. The climate is warm with low humidity-the hottest month is July. Its strength lies in the extension of the coast and the beautiful beaches of rock and pebbles.
